Future Projects

Look here and our Blog for ACM's new Projects and updates on our current projects. Thank you so much for you support.

ACM would like to support to young mothers by introducing a vocational center at the ACM office. To reach out to larger numbers of youths from grandmother households to give them hands on skills and knowledge in tailoring, hair dressing and carpentry. To help them find employment and increased incomes.

The majority from grandmother’s households still face challenges to attain quality education due to different reasons such as:

  • The inability to pay school fees

  • The presence of stigma and discrimination especially among those affected by HIV/AIDS

  • The lack of psychological resilience to respond to the demands of school

  • Low motivation due to feelings of grief and isolation thus low completion rates.

The failure to complete and access quality education has been highly attributed to the rampant poverty among these vulnerable households.  Such barriers have resulted into increased school drop-outs among children in the communities thus denying them a right to access education.
