About Us
Brian the National Director of ACM has vast experience in working with communities. He is visionary and enjoys community developmental work. Among the innovative projects he started, is an orphanage home and a school.
In the past 10 years, ACM Jinja has implemented a project supporting orphans and other vulnerable children to attain education and a good number have been noted for attaining their education from Affectionate Nursery and Primary School .
Affectionate Ministry established an Orphanage Home and a Primary school built out of scrap tree materials to offer free/affordable Education to the disadvantaged children and Orphans so that they can acquire skills and get involved in gainful employment.
Currently, over 400 children from grandmother households and 55 children from the Orphanage home have joined AFFECTIONATE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL undertaking lessons in different subjects like Math’s, English, Science, SST, music, computer and Christian Education.
The ever increasing numbers of Orphans in the neighboring communities coupled with persistent poverty levels that continues to cause challenges for caregivers is a basis against which ACM is focused on a holistic approach for increased access to education.

Our Staff
We the members of Affectionate Children’s Ministry realized the need for promoting and uplifting the welfare of vulnerable children and widows. To strengthen their family unit, alleviate poverty, diseases and fight all forms of economic, social, political and religious barriers together.

With a desire to curb the problem of illiteracy among the peasantry population. We realize that such goals can not be achieved in isolation, but in organization with others, with a common goal for all.

Betty is a resident of Buwagi. She is responsible for cleaning the ministry premises.
Pastor Paul Mufumbiro
Pastor
Pastor Paul is a resident of kyomya. He is responsible for preaching the word of God and spreads the good news from the bible to the children. Pastor Paul is also responsible for the Sunday services in our church, he conducts the prayers in our wooden church and trains the children how to pray.
He is our prayer warrior!
Rashid Kasango
Teacher
Rashid is a resident of kagera central. He is responsible for all the prefects. Rashid is a teacher for Science and for p6,p5 and p4.
Herbert Nampogo
Teacher/Store Manager
Herbert is a resident of Bukaaya village, he is our welfare and store manager. Herbert is also the chapel and prep master. He is also a teacher of social studies and religious education.
Julius Muyanga
Security Guard
Julius is a resident of Namizi
He is the security Guard for ACM and monitors the ministry premises day and night.
Zakia Batelerawo
Matron Mom
Zakia is a resident of Kyomya Village. She is responsible for bathing and cleaning the kids. She is their matron mom. Zakia sleeps and monitors the kids the whole night. She is also responsible with the kids hygiene and laying their beds/mopping the dormitories.
Jonathan Kato
Teacher
Jonathan is a resident of mafubira. Jonathan was one of our children and is now his back to serve the ministry as a sign of appreciation. We are also grateful to give him an opportunity and we are supporting him to complete his secondary education. He is responsible for the dormitory and is a teacher for English in p5, p6 and religious education in p4, p5,p6,p7.

Asia is a resident of Kagera village. She is also responsible for the Debating and is our teacher of Health Habits in Baby class.
Wyclife Kasiko
Finance officer/Teacher
Wyclife is the finance officer for the ministry and budgets how the ACM spend each day. He manages the books of accounts and is also a teacher for Science and literacy.
Jamawa Naisanga
Cook
Jamawa is a resident of lwanyama
She cooks for the children.
She is responsible for the meals we eat.
Musa Kalulu
Teacher
Musa is our mathematics teacher for p6,p7 and p2.
Brenda Ndibaisa
Teacher
Brenda is a resident of Buwagi village. She responsible for all the entertainment and co-curricular activities. Brenda is also a teacher of literacy 1, and religious education in lower section.
Lilian Namwase
Teacher/Public Secretary
Lilian is a resident of Namizi village. She is the Public Secretary of the Ministry and the senior woman teacher. Lilian is responsible for all the female children and is the director of studies. She is also an English teacher.
Daniel Mugula
Teacher
Daniel is a resident of Nawangoma. He is a mathematics teacher for P3 and p4 classes.
Hajira Kumugonza
Teacher
Hajira is a resident of Buwagi. She is the sanitary teacher and is responsible for the general cleanness of the compound, and all the kids at large. Hajira is also a teacher of language development, social development and math in middle class, p1 and p2.
Denis Kayongo
Disciplinary teacher
Denis is a resident of kyomya village. He is the Disciplinary teacher and is responsible for all of the boys and counseling them. Denis is also the senior man teacher. He teaches English, social studies, and mathematics.
Robina Babirye
Head Teacher/Treasurer
Robina is our Head teacher and the Treasurer of the Ministry. She teaches Reading and Language development in Top class. Robina also monitors the daily activities taking place at the ministry and school. Providing daily reports to the director’s office about the challenges and progress taking place.
